    However, you will be charged based on the total number of characters in your written response that you submit to us to edit. So for example, if you submit a Personal Essay that is 1500 characters, but the maximum character count for the prompt is 1000 characters, you must select "1500 characters". Statements that exceed the limit may incur additional costs.
