Undergraduate Major to take when applying to PA School

What undergraduate major should you take to apply to PA school? Is a concentration in health sciences/sciences considered more competitive? Here we answer all your questions on undergraduate major.

There is no undergraduate “major” you must have in order to get into PA school in Canada.

You can do any undergraduate degree – Bachelor of Sciences, Health Sciences, social work, Engineering, Arts & Sciences, Humanities, Arts, Philosophy, Music, etc and apply to PA school.

Remember, as long as you meet the admission requirements, it does not matter what major you come from.

University of Manitoba’s Master of PA Studies

A health sciences undergrad is recommended

University of Manitoba does recommend having a Bachelor’s degree that is preferably in a health sciences field, however
